Door County Knock is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is primarily funded through grants from foundations and donations from individuals, including both major donors and reader contributions.
As a matter of policy, funders exercise no control over Knock’s editorial decisions, and major funders are publicly identified. In news reporting, Knock discloses any possible conflicts of interest, including whether any person or organization mentioned in our reporting is a funder.
