The Sister Bay Village Hall Planning Task Force will discuss recommending a Citizen Preparation Plan to the Village Board for adoption as part of a Community Development Block Grant application process at the meeting Wednesday at 11 a.m. The plan is designed to guide public input, specifically from low-income or moderate-income residents, as the Village pursues renovating the Village Hall into a community center.   • The Door County Sheriff’s Office issued a scam alert on its Facebook page on April 8 after receiving reports of callers falsely claiming to be deputies with the department. The callers tell individuals they missed a court hearing and attempt to gather personal information. If you receive a call like this, do not provide any personal information and hang up immediately.

  • Aging & Disability Resource Center is hosting a “Bingocize” for participants over the age of 60 to do strength and balance exercises that are combined with bingo on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
  • Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar is hosting a “Survey Slam Trivia” night on Friday at 6 p.m.
