Three LGBTQ advocacy organizations in Door County have reached a turning point in their growth this year, celebrating milestones and expanding their staffing and educational efforts.

Betsy Lecy is a senior attending Gibraltar High School and a longtime resident of Door County. Throughout her high school career, Betsy wrote for the Gibraltar school newspaper as both the news editor and the editor-in-chief. Her work has also been featured in the Peninsula Pulse. After graduation, Betsy hopes to pursue journalism and pre-law.
