💡 Energy – Door County Board of Supervisors (Tuesday, 9 a.m.)

The Door County Board of Supervisors will discuss a proposed 12-month moratorium on development of data centers and battery energy storage systems in “unincorporated areas” of the county at the board meeting on Tuesday. County officials said existing zoning regulations and planning policies did not account for the potential impacts of the facilities. The moratorium would give the county time to study possible land use and public welfare impacts and to “maintain public health, safety, and general welfare.” Read the agenda
