🚨 Emergency Communications – Door County Board of Supervisors (Tuesday, 9 a.m.)
The Door County Board of Supervisors will discuss the county’s emergency communications system replacement capital project at its meeting on Tuesday. The county is preparing to transition from analog to digital communications technology by 2028, which will require new tower locations, new communications equipment and new field equipment for all emergency agencies. Three proposals have been submitted and are currently under review, with vendor selection anticipated in June. Read the agenda.
👥 Staffing – Treatment Court Steering Committee (Thursday, 12 p.m.)
The Treatment Court Steering Committee will discuss staffing updates at its meeting on Thursday. During the May 28 meeting, it was reported that two new behavioral health case managers had recently been hired and that a behavioral health therapist is expected to join the team in July as the county works to expand capacity for its Treatment Alternatives and Diversion program. 🏠 Historic Preservation – Ephraim Village Board (Monday, 12 p.m.)
The Ephraim Village Board will discuss a potential village contribution to the Anderson Dock Capital Campaign and donor recognition preferences from the Anderson Dock Capital Campaign Task Force at its meeting on Monday. Read the agenda.

- The Village of Ephraim Board of Trustees may attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the North End Path project at a public celebration on Monday. The celebration will take place from 3 to 6 p.m., with the ribbon-cutting at 5 p.m.

- The Sister Bay Historical Society will host a presentation on the history of Sister Bay’s cottage industry on Tuesday at 7 p.m. New curator Michaela Kraft’s exhibit will explore the rise of vacation cottages and family-run motel operations that helped shape the tourism economy in the 1900s. Descendants of several families involved in the industry will also participate.
- Kitty O’Reiliys Irish Pub will host “Door County’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s” kickoff event on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Community members, volunteers, walkers and sponsors will have the opportunity to learn more about this year’s walk and connect with others involved in the campaign.
- Lake Fire Winery will host a bourbon sampling with J Henry & Sons on Thursday at 3 p.m.
