🏚️ Blight Ordinance – Gibraltar Town Board (Wednesday, 6 p.m.)The Gibraltar Town Board will discuss the next steps for a proposed blight ordinance. Under Wisconsin law, blight typically refers to properties that are “substandard” or “deteriorated” and pose a threat to public health or safety, according to the State Bar of Wisconsin. The town currently does not have an ordinance allowing staff to assist with or require blight correction. The ordinance would give the town authority to address properties that pose public health or safety concerns, such as boarded-up buildings or pest infestations. Read the agenda.
